Born and raised in rural England, I up and left as a teenager, traveled the world and settled in Australia, where I now live with my fiance and two cats. I like to work with charcoal and oils. Charcoal is fast, expressive, monochromatic, messy, moody, and it makes your fingers look like you've been scratching around in dirt. Oils are for when I want to pretend to be a mechanic.
